Do You Wanna Tie a Bow Tie?

Here at Kids On King, we have a surprisingly extensive range of boys clothes, from newborn to size 10-12!

We've been asked a lot recently if we have bigger sizes in boys clothes, so this week we wanted to spotlight some of our great boys pieces!

Pair a dapper seersucker blazer from Kitestrings with a classic white polo, shorts from E-Land and an adorable nautical printed bowtie from Tadpole & Lily, and you have an outfit perfect for a Fourth of July party or a beach themed wedding! 

While these pieces look great together, you can mix and match them with other shirts and pants to make tons of great outfits!

Pair fun bright colors with classic pieces for a trendy yet timeless look! The focal point of this outfit is the great reversible windbreaker from Mayoral! Classic navy blue on one side and a more modern neon yellow on the other!

We've paired this great jacket with a plaid button-down that has similar colors from the Bailey Boys and a pair of classic khaki shorts, also from the Bailey Boys. This look is very colorful without being overwhelming; perfect for the first day of school or just a rainy summer day!

We recently got the opportunity to design our own dresses and t-shirts courtesy of Acvisa! They provided the appliques, and we picked our patterns and colors! The results are some seriously cute, perfect-for-summer outfits!

These whales have been making quite the splash here at Kids On King! These are by far the most popular designs, and it's easy to see why! In a classic navy and green color scheme mixed with stripes, polka dots, and a graphic whale print, these dresses are fun and preppy!

Similar in design to the whale dress, this crab dress definitely will not make your little girl crabby! With a polka-dotted crab on a red and white background, this dress is sure to shine by the shore. The boy's top is classic navy with a bright red crab applique. This set coordinates fabulously. Pair a brother and sister in this set for a cute picture down by the beach.

It's not all navy though! This dress and capri set bring the color in vibrant orange and pink. The whale dress on the left is a gorgeous tangerine orange color with bright pink trim and ruffles. The tank top of the set features heart print flip flop appliques on a hot pink background. The flared, ruffled leg opening on the pants make them nice and girly!

Nautical is everywhere for the summertime, and Kids On King is not immune to the trend of anchors and stripes! The boy's shirt is a classic navy blue anchor on a red and white striped background. The dress takes a turn from the expected, featuring polka dots instead of stripes, and a sweet bow on the anchor.

Swimwear is Making a Splash at Kids On King!

Everyone loves to swim, especially children, on those hot summer days! At Kids On King, we have a large selection of great swimwear for little girls & boys, big girls & boys, and baby! Bikinis, tankinis, rash guards and swim trunks galore!

Starting with the little boys for a change, we have many great pairs of swim shorts to chose from.  First on the left, from Cukees comes a pair of blue striped shorts with a smocked sailboat on the leg. Next are a pair seersucker shorts from Snapping Turtles, adorned with anchor embroidery and a rope tie waist. Lastly from Le Top are a pair of classic navy shorts with a small sailboat embroidered on them, accent stitching, and tie waist.

The trend for the little girl swimwear this summer is fabric suits with smocking. These two from Vive La Fete feature blue and pink chevron patterns with smocked bands with cute whales on them. These suits are truly original, and absolutely adorable!

From Royal Child, this matching set has been extremely popular amongst brothers and sisters! Following the trend of smocking, these suits are a bright yellow color in a modern print, contrasted by royal blue whale embroidery. These would be perfect for a beach themed photo or for a simple day on the beach!

Another big trend for this summer is polka dots! On the left, this bikini from Hartstrings has a small navy polka dot print with red and white striped trim to add a little interest. On the right, from Kate Mack, this one piece has plenty of interest, with a large polka dot print and cute ruffles on the bust. Both of these would be great for the Fourth of July!

Also from Kate Mack, this mod 60s print in comes in both a bikini and a rashguard set! It's colorful and youthful, just what your pre-teen wants for summertime! 

Nano does great swim sets every summer, and this year is no exception! Their swim line features bright colors and fun characters, like sharks and dinosaurs. Any boy would be happy to spend a day on the beach in these great rashguard and swim trunk combos!

Smooth Sailing into Summer!

Now that it officially feels like summertime and school is coming to a close, Kids On King is sailing into summer fashions! We have stocked up on great outfits for Memorial Day and the 4th of July. There is perfect outfit for every child, from dressy smocks and shortalls to casual short sets and swimwear.

Starting on a casual note, these short sets from The Bailey Boys keep your child cool in both senses of the word! The girl's version includes a tank top that features a cute polka dotted sailboat applique and matching polka dotted shorts. The boy's version has a short sleeved t-shirt with a sailboat applique and gingham seersucker shorts.

This summer is all about mixing and matching patterns and colors! For example, this gingham shortall and chevron smocked dress aren't the same pattern, but because they have the same color scheme and embroidered pails and beach balls, they coordinate seamlessly. This perfectly patriotic set would be great for a Memorial Day or Fourth of July party!
